About ITIL® V4
ITIL® V4 is the latest version of ITIL and it builds on the content in ITIL® V3, bringing ITIL into the digital age and including more practical guidance to help organisations tailor an IT management strategy that will help them to adapt to the increasingly complex modern service environment.
ITIL® V4 focuses more on value, outcomes, risks and costs, plus a strong focus on continual service improvement. Many core ideas from older ITIL versions such as incident management, change management and problem management still exist in ITIL V4 but with a much more holistic view.
ITIL® V4 Specialist Courses
There are four levels within the ITIL V4 certification scheme. These are:

|ITIL 4 Managing Professional|
|ITIL 4 Strategic Leader|
ITIL 4 Managing Professional designation is awarded once the four ITIL Specialist Modules are all completed. Each of the modules are standalone courses, with an associated exam included. Together, they lead to the ITIL MP award.

ITIL Strategic Leader (SL) recognises the value of ITIL for IT operations and all digitally enabled services. Becoming an ITIL Strategic Leader demonstrates that you have a clear understanding of how IT influences and directs business strategy. ITIL SL is coming soon.
To certify as an ITIL Strategic Leader (ITIL SL), you must hold:
